Matteo is in the tub with a pink comb and the water is foamy with soap. "Clean the 'snow', clean the 'snow'," he keeps telling the pink 'train'. Again and again my kids prove to me that they don't need a lot of material things. Food, a roof to sleep under and love. What else do kids really need?
I'm trying so hard to not go crazy with Christmas shopping. But it's hard! I end up planning to buy them a lot of toys (see their Amazon wish lists!) which I know I won't buy anyway because it's not like we have that much money to spare. It's the thought that a lot of gifts will make them happy. While they are happy with a pink comb in a soapy tub.
